The UK plug is both a beautiful piece of engineering and a total nightmare at the same time. Someone finally fixed it.
I read an article in one of those free mags people like me get sent at work. Not sure how they got my details but they are useful for the odd quiet moment (rare) or much more commonly protecting something delicate from scratches.
It was about a design competition to come up with a folding UK 13A plug that still ticked all the safety boxes. The winner was a very neat combo of folding and rotating. And now you can buy something with it!
The Mu Charger looks pretty neat. Price isn’t too bad either, assuming it lasts and doesn’t melt. And will fit in a pocket, bag etc.. with ease.
I might have to get one for my travel tech survival kit.
