I’ve backed a few projects on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Only a couple have failed to deliver, so I have been quite lucky. And I’ve got some nice things too. However one kickstarter has burned me pretty bad and I will avoid tech that is not open source like the plague from now on.

There are times when the saying ‘if you want a job doing right, do it yourself’. However when idiots like Hotpoint make washing machines with bonded drum tanks you have to put your faith in the ‘engineer’ to fix the problem.

Been doing some odd jobs for friends lately. Fixing up a few things ready for winter. The lack of maintenance on certain things never ceases to amaze me!
I recently went to London and noticed something odd while on the 137 bus to Clapham Common.
